Up N'Adam Kennels is one of the premier breeders of Dual Champion German Shorthaired Pointers in the United States. Established in 1974, breeder Katrin Tazza is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Animal Science. Applying the science of genetics and using modern and humane principles of animal behavior, we strive to produce GSPs that excel in the field and are true to type.

We have produced two members of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America Hall of Fame. To be considered for inclusion in the Hall of Fame, a GSP is elected by a committee of the GSPCA as making a lasting and permanent impression on the breed based upon either its achievements in competition or its production record. Our Hall of Fame members are CH Up N'Adam's Barbara CD JH and DC AFC NSS Up N'Adam UD SH.

Our dogs are bred for soundness, health and disposition. They are bred to be easy to train whether for show, obedience or field.

Currently, DC AFC Up N'Adam's Super Sioux CDX SH has the top ranking in Open Limited Gun Dog competition for GSPCA in 2007. Also, she easily completed her obedience title Companion Dog Excellent in 3 straight trials.
